Mermaid Pattieboop

Hi everyone... I have a new creation and this one is for the following challenges.
I decided to make a Shaker Card since I never tried one. I had so much fun with this one. My image is from Pattie's Creations called Mermaid Pattieboop. This is one of my images and can be found here. The papers are from my stash. I cut out a circle, added acetate, and mounted it on foam board to create my window. I tried using glitter but that didn't work so I used tiny glass beads inside my window. They worked perfectly! I then added paper that I created in Photoshop and two fish with bubbles. I used my scallop circle from Spellbinders for trim around my window. A few splashes of water gels, a paper flower, some coral branches and my creation was complete.

School Time

Well Hello everyone!!! This has been a very busy week for me. I managed to complete a creation and this one is for the following challenges:
I decided to make my own template again and this time I made a template for a Backpack. I have to come up with a tutorial soon and I will be posting it here and on my CDAC group. I chose a denim paper that I just purchased and a deep red cardstock. My image is from Michelle Perkett called Mary Margaret. Isn't she cute! I used a white correction pen to create my stitches on the denim paper and a black pen for the stitches on my closure tabs. I colored mary Margaret using Adobe Photoshop and added some school embellishments like my ABC's, pencil, apple and a sentiment. I layered or pieced her apple and bow to give it that raised effect. My backpack opens and has a velcro dot to keep it closed. I haven't finished the inside but I will wait until I need a card for someone special. I think I will send it to my youngest granddaughter who is 4 1/2 years old and is in preschool.

Spread Your Wings And Fly...

Hello everyone... I have a new creation and this one is for the following challenges:
I got very creative with this one. First I took a piece of canvas and used acrylic paints for the background. To create my Vintage images I used brushes that I downloaded here to use in Photoshop. I printed the images out and cut them to give my painting a layered look. I created my sentiment that way also. I made a picture frame using foam board and Photoshop. Again I used some decorative brushes to create my scroll corners. To complete my creation I used wide matching color organza ribbon to hang my painting on the wall.

Pattieboop Is Now For Sale...

Please check out my new Etsy Store here. I have several images of Pattieboop and her cat Allie that you can purchase and use on your crafts. Here are a few colored previews.

Spooky Pattieboop

Hello everyone. I have a new creation today and I have used one of my very own digital stamps on this card. You can find all of my digital stamps here. This image is called Witch Pattieboop. Isn't she adorable? I am entering this card to the following challenges:
I used orange base cadstock and then cretaed my own design paper with bats on it using Adobe Photoshop. I just love creating my own papers... My image is called Witch Pattieboop by me "Pattie's Creations". I colored my digital image using Adobe Fireworks. I cut out a pumpkin and layered it on top of the original pumpkin. I added some glitter, a sentiment and two flowers to complete my creation.

Best Wishes Frame

I WON AT MICHELLE PERKETT STUDIO

Hello everyone... I have a new creation today and this one is for the following challenges.
I made this frame by taking a frame that I bought at the dollar store and covering it with one of my design papers. I used an image from Michelle Perkett called Harmony and colored it using Photoshop. I made a removable tag with another design paper and stamped my sentiment on it. I cut out flowers with one of my design papers and added buttons for the centers. A few butterflies, some gems and glitter completed my creation.

Dreams Tag

Hello everyone... I have a new creation and this one is for the following challenges:
I created my own paper for this creation by using Adobe Photoshop CS4. I took a template for a tag and created this background with some of my brushes. I found a website called Falln Stock with some bird cage brushes and added this beautiful bird cage. If you use Photoshop you can find free brushes here. I printed out my tag and cut it out. I highlighted the edges useing some of my Color Box Chalks. I then added a sentiment, some butterflies, gems, pearls and a black organza ribbon to complete my creation. You can use this tag to decorate a gift or as a bookmark. What do you think?

Scraplings & Paint Chips...

Here is the set of Scraplings...

Individual Scraplings ...

Hello everyone... I have a new creation and this one is a first for me. I went to Gingersnap Creations and there is a challenge to make a set of cards using Paint Chips and Scraplings. Well, I had no idea what a scrapling or paint chips were so I googled them and found out that a scrapling is a tiny card that can be used as a gift tag or whateva. The paint chips are the cute little color swatches that you find in a paint store. Wow, what an interesting tecnique! Since the colors are monochromatic my creation qualified for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge. Here are all the challenges that this creation is entered in:
Gingersnap Creations ... Theme is "Paint Chips & Scraplings"
Cute Card Thursday Challenge ... Theme is "Whateva"
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge ... "Anything Goes Theme"
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge ... "Momchromatic Theme "
Sentimental Sunday's Challenge ... Theme is "New Technique or Style"

I used white cardstock as my base, paint chips that I made in Adobe Photoshop (since I didn't have any paint chips at the moment), a stamp by Susan Branch, prima flowers, brads and a leaf punch. So what do you think?

Van Gogh "Sunflower"

Hello everyone... I have a new creation today and this one is for the following challenges:
Gingersnap Creations Challenge ... "Famous Painters or Paintings" theme.
Flutter By Wednesday Challenge ... Must use a butterfly, fairy or angel somewhere.
Color Throwdown Challenge ... Color Combo.
Diecut Dreams Challenge ... Theme is "Gingham".
Dutch Dare Challenge ... Theme is "Anything Goes".

I really had fun with this challenge because I used one of my favorite artists, Vincent Van Gogh. I chose papers from my stash and a copy of one of Van Gogh's famous paintings called "Sunflowers No. 2". Van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist Painter. He used vivd colors as shown here in one of his famous paintings and my favorite. I found a stamp from the Netherlands with Van Gogh's painted portrait so I added his name to the side of the stamp using Adobe Photoshop. I added a butterfly, a quote from Van Gogh, some fiber accent and pearls to complete my creation. I consider this creation, A Tribute to Vincent Van Gogh.

Pakelekia (aka Pattie)

Please take a look at all the entries and please leave comments.
Below are my creations. Michelle gave us this adorable image called Leilani to use for this Blog Hop. I decided to make name place tags for a Hawaiian Luau and I made one for me (Pakelekia) and one for Michelle (Mikela). I hope you like them...
I used half coconut shells to stand my images on. I colored the images with Adobe Fireworks CS4 and added some glitter after cutting them out. Michelle gave all the DT members their very own image with their names in Hawaiian. I made one for Michelle too. Some flowers, sea shells and pearls were added on the cocnut shells to give it that tropical look.

Here is Mikela's Name Place Holder
