Snowman Sleighing Gift Card Holder

Hello again everyone. I made a card yesterday and posted it this morning called Snowman Sleighing. I used an image from Nina at There's Magic in the Air Challenge and I was going to enter it in her challenge for this week. When I went to post it I realized that her challenge wanted anything but a card! Now what should I do, I said. Well, I went and created another entry and this one is here. This is a gift card holder using Nina's image. I used metallic green card stock for my base which is made to resemble a match book cover. I colored the image with copic markers and added a little glitter. A few snowflakes, a sentiment and other embellishments completed my cover. Inside I made a gift card holder and added a stamp and some glitter.

Snowman Sleighing

Hello everyone. Today I have a creation that I finished last night and this one is for several challenges. The sketch is from The Truly Scrumptious Challenge. The Cupcake Craft Challenge theme is red & green. The Pink Elephant Challenge theme is Color me Wonderful. I used papers from a couple of different stashes and distressed them. I then used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges. My image is from Nina at There's Magic In The Air and I colored it with copic markers. I added some snowflake satin ribbon, a large silver glitter snowflake along with some red gems as embellishments. A sentiment completed my creation.

Cocoa Anyone?

Hi everyone, I have another creation to add to my gallery and this one is for The Diecut Dreams Challenge, Just Us Girls Challenge and Sophisticat Challenge. The theme for Diecut Dreams is hot chocolate and I decided to create a gift bag to hold my hot chocolate. The theme for Just Us Girls is to use a template to make a gift bag or box and decorate it. The theme for Sophisticats is snowflakes and sparkle. I found a template for a bag on the Internet and used paper from my Christmas stash. My image is a new one that I purchased from The Pink Cat Studio. I colored her with my copic markers and added some glitter to her outfit. I cut out an oval shape on the front of my bag and inserted a piece of velum with some gold snowflakes. I created my sentiment using MS Word and cut it out with one of my Nestabilities dies. I then embossed it and used some of my color box chalks. A little ribbon and it serves as a gift tag. I added a few glitter snowflakes and my creation was almost complete. Inside my gift bag I placed a few packets of hot cocoa, miniature marshmallows and two small candy canes. This is a perfect gift to give to someone special for the Holidays.

Michael & Robin

Good morning everyone. I have another creation to add to my gallery and this one is for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Challenge. The theme for Mo's is to use at least two images from Mo and create a card with a scene. The theme for Cute Card Thursday is Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails. I chose two little angels one called Michael and the other Robin. As you see Michael is sleeping on a soft cloud while Robin is playing on his swing. I colored my images with my copic markers and added some glitter glue. I used pale blue glitter card stock for my frame and added a few twinkling stars. What do you think?

Michelle Perkett's Group Challenge

Hi everyone. Today I have my creation for Michelle Perkett's Group Challenge. I followed the sketch that was provided. I used an image from Michelle and colored her with my copic markers along with Adobe Fireworks CS4. I used metallic green card stock for my base and some contrasting papers from my stash. Since I love glitter I added some to the image and along my distressed edges of my paper. To complete my card I added a few silver pearls, silk flowers and a double silver heart charm.
