Use The Color Red In Your Image

All 4 Coasters

2 Coasters

Hello everyone and glad to be back creating! I have been busy designing new images to sell in my store and this is one of them for 2014. I call this image "Scotty Dog" and you can purchase it HERE.
I have two Design Teams at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge and sometimes I decide to make an inspiration and join in the fun. I love using my images to create something special and this time I made 4 Coasters using Scotty Dog. The theme for this weeks challenge is "Use the color red in your image".
I colored my image using Photoshop and added it to a Tartan Plaid background. I had some tiles left over from making coasters before. I printed out my image on Vellum paper and let then dry overnight. I used quick dry glue to attach them to the coasters and then Mod Podge to coat them.
Come on over to our challenge and join in the fun!

Pattie, how fun you joined us in the challenge! We get to see how you envisioned your images - I love that. Your card is just darling! Love the colors, papers, and image - I have some friends who would totally flip over this one! Have a great weekend. Hugz!

Pattie - I love your coasters made from tiles, especially with the Scotty Dog image! It goes perfectly with the tartan plaid colors too. Your link to your store within this post, isn't there!

Hey Pattie,

I really like these coasters of yours. What a fabulous idea. The red/black combo is very striking and the Scotty Dog is so cute. Thanks for the tips on how you made them too. I'd have never thought to print on Vellum and then modge podge them. Brilliant idea.

You've inspired me to get off my duff and give it a whirl! :) Thanks for the inspiration...and for always being so encouraging. You're not only an amazing artist, but you have a wonderful heart too!!
