Sea Shell Coasters

Hello everyone... I haven't been here for a while so I decided to add some new posts. I have been busy crafting and just finished these new Sea Shell Coasters. I really like the way they turned out and they were so easy to make.
I was using vellum to print my images on but found that canvas cloth works even better. There are no bumps at all like the ones you make using vellum. I hope you like them!

Hootie My Owl

I have been gifted with a very beautiful Owl. I don't know if it is a female or a male but I am calling him "Hootie"... He/She lives under my Patio Cover and seems to think that this is their home. I have heard that Owls are Good Luck and I sure could use Good Luck right now. Don't we all??? Here is Hootie...

If anyone knows more about this owl please post a comment so I can learn more about my newest friend...

Thank You,

Use The Color Red In Your Image

All 4 Coasters

2 Coasters

Hello everyone and glad to be back creating! I have been busy designing new images to sell in my store and this is one of them for 2014. I call this image "Scotty Dog" and you can purchase it HERE.
I have two Design Teams at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge and sometimes I decide to make an inspiration and join in the fun. I love using my images to create something special and this time I made 4 Coasters using Scotty Dog. The theme for this weeks challenge is "Use the color red in your image".
I colored my image using Photoshop and added it to a Tartan Plaid background. I had some tiles left over from making coasters before. I printed out my image on Vellum paper and let then dry overnight. I used quick dry glue to attach them to the coasters and then Mod Podge to coat them.
Come on over to our challenge and join in the fun!

My Creation Using Priscilla's Image "Sweet Pea Image"

Close Up

Hello all and welcome to my personal blog. I also have a Challenge Blog called "Pattie's Creations Design Challenge" and I hope you will go and visit it soon.
Today I have a creation using one of Priscilla Heaton's images called "Sweet Pea Flower". I just love this image. If you are a member at CDAC then I hope you will go on over and add your creation in support of CDAC. Just go to the Main Page to get the details.
If you are not a member, just click on the name CDAC and join in the fun.

I colored the image using Photoshop and also used "Twinkling H2O's" for some added shimmer. I made the butterfly with one of my Martha Stewart punches and used Twinkling H2O's to color it. I had another punch which makes a tiny envelope and I added a sentiment and placed it in the envelope. Isn't that so cute? Some ribbon, pearls and a flower finished my creation. What do you think?

HAP-BEE Birthday!

Well, I think it's time for me to make some cards for 2014... Here is my first card for my friend Rosie's Birthday in February. I used one of my newest images called " Honey Bee" and if you would like to purchase it just click on the name or HERE. I made my own plaid paper using Photoshop and colored my image there as well. I just love Photoshop and I keep perfecting my coloring by trying different tools. I cut out the beehive and placed it over my colored image to give it depth, just like paper piecing... I added a swirll that I cut out using one of my Sizzex Dies and used a black glitter cardstock. The sentiment is also one of mine that I made in MS Word and colored it in. I added a sunflower and glossy accents to the bees wings and the door in the bee hive.
I have decided to enter this card to the following challenges:
Through The Craft Room Door ... Theme is "Anything Goes"
Fantastic Tuesday ... Theme is "Make it Cute or Sweet"
Just Inspirational Challenges ... Theme is "Swirls"
Word Play Saturday ... Theme is "Yellow"
