My Favorite Things

Hi everyone... are you ready for another DT inspiration for The Dutch Dare Card Challenge? Well, here it is... The theme this week is "Favorite Things". I decided to embellish this journal with the theme Cooking. Cooking is one of my favorite things besides crafting and drawing. I used a cute image from "The Stamping Boutique" called Pantry Shelf and colored it using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks. I used papers from my stash including some hand made blue paper and Glossy Accents on the hearts. I made a matching bookmark and created my own two sentiments using Photoshop. I hope you like both creations...

Hello everyone... I have a new creation and I made this card for my sister and her husband for Christmas. It is also my Inspiration for Dutch Dare Card Challenge for this week. The theme for our challenge at Dutch Dare, this week is "Tic, Tac, Toe".

I made my own papers for this card using Adobe Photoshop. I found the sheet music online and added a blue border and then distressed the edges. I used one of my latest images called "Vintage Ice Skate" and colored it using Adobe Fireworks. You can purchase this image and many more at my store, "Pattie's Creations Digital Images". I cut out my image with one of my Nesties and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I added organza ribbon, lace, pearls, a glitter snowflake, a pearl embellishment and some glitter. I used one of the Freebie images from the Challenge by Ginger Loft Digis. I used papers from my stash and also from DCWV. I distressed the brown paper and I colored the image of the barn landscape using Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop. I love to combine both of these software programs to achieve a certain look. I added some Christmas tree ribbon, Glossy Accents, snow flake stickies and a sentiment.

Autumn Thank You

Hello again... I have a new creation that I want to share with you. I made a set of Thank You Cards using an Autumn theme. I took an empty candy box and one of my newest images called Autumn Wreath. You can purchase this image at my store. I colored the image using Adobe Fireworks and added some Glossy Accents to the acorns. I took a piece of Autumn ribbon and put it around the lid of the box. The box was already brown so it blended well. I used some metallic cardstock, cut out my colored image with one of my Nesties and attached it to the top of the box. I then made 6 Thank You cards and 6 envelopes to go inside my decorated box. The cards measure 4" x 4" and the envelopes are slightly larger. They fit perfectly in to my box.
This creation is being used as my Inspiration piece for this weeks Dutch Dare Card Challenge.
