Bird Luminaria

Hello everyone... I have a creation for you today and this one is for the following challenges:
I decided to use the image provided by Sue at CDAC and I made a luminaria. I love to make these because they are so easy and they really look nice with a battery tea light inside. I printed the image out on vellum paper and cut the scallop ovals with my Cuttlebug and a nestabilities die. I used a different section of Sue's image for each window. I added a stamped border on the bottom and top and added a lace border on the top using black glitter paper. I also cut out two flowers with the black glitter paper and placed them on two sides of the luminaria.

NEW CHALLENGE...

I am announcing a brand new challenge that I am sponsoring over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge blog. The first challenge will start on October 8th CST. My new Design Team is getting ready to show off their talents so take a look to see who the members are. We are going to have so much fun so I hope you all will join us.

Pleasant Dreams

Hello everyone... I have another creation to share with you and this one is for the following challenges:
Well I decided to use my latest digital image created by me Pattie Gomez. My shop can be found here with all of my images. My image is called Pleasant Dreams Pattieboop & Allie and I colored it using Adobe Fireworks. I used blue cardstock for my base and added some Basic Grey paper called Oh! Baby Boy for the corners and I also use my Martha Stewart butterfly punch with the same paper. I added a piece of ribbon, a handmade paper flower, a brad and some glitter. I also added a star tag with my sentiment on it.

Lady Rose Stained Glass

Hello again... I have a creation today and this one is for the following challenges:
I made a luminaria and used a free image by Jen Leeflang found at Nana Vic's Group in CDAC. The image is called Lady Rose. This image reminds me of a Medieval Stained Glass and is perfect for The Chestnut Theme Challenge at Gingersnaps. I colored Lady Rose using Adobe Fireworks. I then printed it out on to vellum paper. If you need my instructions for printing on vellum please let me know. I took a glass vase that has a crackle effect near the bottom, added some silk flowers inside and a few battery tea lights. I put a fine strip of double face tape around all the edges of the image and adhered it to the glass vase. This was a very easy creation and it makes a very nice luminaria that looks beautiful at night.

Witch Pattieboop & Allie Halloween

Here is my Scene before Coloring it..

Here is Witch Pattieboop

Hi everyone... I have been having fun creating scenes using my images and Photoshop brushes. I created this Halloween scene using my Witch Pattieboop, Allie with Pumpkin, a Haunted House image and various Photoshop brushes. It is amazing what you can create! I started by creating a new project and added my own images along with some brush images. I added many flying bats, skulls hanging from trees, trees, a grim reaper, bones, a spider in a web and a picket fench that I made using bones. I also added a stone walkway, ribbon and a sentiment. Once my scene was done I opened it up in Adobe Fireworks and colored it. Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment or two...
Here are the challenges that I am entering it to:

Thomas and School Friends

Hello everyone... I finally found some time to craft and I created this cute card. I am entering it in the following challenges:
I used images from Michelle Perkett. The boy is called Thomas and is a freebie this week from Michelle. I found a cute bus image online and added three more images from Michelle using Adobe Photoshop. From left to right, Goldielocks, Mary Margaret and Stella. I colored all images using Adobe Fireworks. I created my own school background paper and embossed it with one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders. I pieced Thomas and his books in front of the bus to make it look like he is waiting for the bus. A sentiment, faux stitches and a ribbon completed my creation.

School Days Bookmark

Hello everyone... It has been a while since I entered any challenges because I have been so busy with my new Etsy Store and also my group on CDAC. I am happy to say that I am now on the Design Team for Dutch Dare Card Challenges and this is my first creation on their team. The theme is to make a Back to School Bookmark. I colored the image using Adobe Fireworks and used papers from my stash. I added this very familiar sentiment from a song that we all remember. A little ribbon completed my bookmark.
