Birthday Gift Card Holder

Well, here is my last creation for today... This gift card holder is for Bec's Creatalicious Challenge. The theme for Creatalicious is to "Create a Little Something". I used double sided papers from K&Company by Amy Butler. I used a tutorial for the gift card holder that I found here but changed a few things. For the flap on my purse I used my Nestabilities Scallop Circle die. I used two eyelets for my ribbon/handle to attach to and added two Prima flowers with a cabachon gem along with velcro dots to close my purse. On the inside I cut out another scallop circle and folded it to use for my gift card. I also added a sentiment from Michelle Perkett's Studio.

Bonjour

Here is another creation for today and this one is for The Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge, Just Us Girls Challenge and Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. Sweet Sketch Wednesday provided the sketch, Just Us Girls theme is to use a template and Peachy Keen's theme is to use the colors green & yellow somewhere, use a 3D element and a stamped image. My papers are from The Paper Studio called So-So Sweet. I drew my mannequin and created my own digital stamp. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with one of my punches. I added a lace scalloped border with some ribbon behind the dress image as part of the sketch. A few Prima flowers and a some cabachon gems/pearls completed my creation.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone... I have a creation today and this one is for the following challenges:
I enjoyed making this card because I never used the split negative technique before. My papers are from my stash and I stamped my image from Inkadinkado. I stamped my image with pink ink on one piece of white cardstock and then I stamped the same image on pink cardstock using white embossing ink & powder and heated it. Michelle Perkett's Love Letter Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Michelle Perkett's LOVE LETTER BLOG HOP! We are celebrating Valentines day by writing a special love letter to the love of our lives! It can be your husband, boyfriend, mother, sister, daughter or son, or a loved one who is no longer with us. I chose my Mother who is no longer with us, she is now an Angel in heaven and watches over me from up above. I am sending her my love and my poem so she knows I am thinking of her today and everyday! If you got here from Jenn Dove's site then you are in the right place. If not then start at the beginning here at Michelle's Blogspot. I hope you enjoy all of the entries and leave a comment so that we know you were there. Here are my creations for this Blog Hop Challenge. I am also entering this creation to The Diecut Dreams Challenge because their theme this week is "Have a Heart"...

I made a mailbox and a card and put my own poem inside my card. The image is from Michelle Perkett called "Love Letter Fairy" who is flying all around the world delivering love letters. Isn't she adorable? I created my own template for my mailbox and used double sided papers from K & Company called Smitten. I used my Martha Stewart lace border punch to decorate the end of my mailbox that opens. The heart flag on my mailbox actually goes up or down depending on if there is mail. Here you see it up because my poem to my Mother is inside. I used similar papers for my card. The base of my card is red and I added some gold mesh fabric to give the background some sparkle. I colored my image using Adobe Fireworks CS4. I added some hearts, glitter, gems, pink organza ribbon and a red heart hat pin with a Swarovski crystal on it. I created my poem using Microsoft Word and found a photo that I took of a red rose. Using Adobe Photoshop I inserted my poem in to the red rose. Please leave me a comment and let me know how I did and you can vote for me at the end of the blog. Now on to the next blogspot which is Marias's. If you loose your way here is the complete list. I know it is a long one but it will be worth the trip on the Love Boat!!!
Pattie (that's Me!)
