Earth Day Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Michelle Perkett's Studio Earth Day Blog Hop... If you came here from Jennifer's blogspot, then you are in the right place. If not then go to Michelle's blogspot and start at the beginning. I hope you like my recycled creation.

This is what the box looked like before recycling it.

I decided to recycle a Priority mail box and change it in to a Magazine Holder. I took a used mailing box and cut it in to a magazine holder shape. I then covered it using some of my 12x12 papers from my stash. I made my sunflower with my Nestabilities die cutouts. I added sunflower ribbon around the edges and some tiny pearls in the center of the flower. I hope that you will vote for my creation!!!
Now it is time for you to visit Claire's blogspot to see what she has to show you. Thank you for playing along with us.

Just For You...

Hello again... I have a creation and this one is for the following challenges:
I cut out my layers using my round scallop Nestibilities die. I used my swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for texture. The image is from Nina at Paper Cupcakes and I stamped the sentiment. I added some pretty flowers and a touch of glitter. To complete my creation I added a blue gingham bow. I intended this to be a card but I thought it would also make a cute gift tag for a present because it is small. So, what do you think?

Cutie Patootie Birthday

Hello everyone. Today I have a new creation and this one is for Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge. and A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge. I am on Michelle's Design Team and the theme we chose this week is to use this color combo and to make an Easel card. A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge theme is Happy Birthday. I made this easel card and a box to put it in. I made this card for my granddaughter's birthday. The images are from Michelle's store and I colored them using Adobe Fireworks. The papers are from my stash. I added some Prima Flowers, brads, a sentiment and some stickles glitter glue. I used my branch punch to make the coral like branches under my flowers. So, what do you think?

Door Hanger Challenge...

Hi everyone... I managed to get another challenge completed today and this one is for a special challenge at Doodlebug Designs. Lynne, who is one of the DTs on Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge, has a special challenge to celebrate 300 members to Michelle's Papercraft Planet Group. Lynne provided a tutorial to make a door hanger and this is what I came up with. I bought this wood door hanger from Hobby Lobby and covered it with paper from my stash. The image is a freebie from Michelle. I colored the image using Adobe Fireworks. I printed two images out and cut out the vase and flowers on one. I then used the layering technique and glued the vase and flowers to the other image. I then and added glitter and pearls. I added a sentiment from Michelle and some crystal flowers. So what do you think?

Happy Birthday to Ewe!!!

Hello everyone... Today I have a creation and this one if for There's Magic In The Air Challenge. The theme is a color combo to use blue, green and white. This cute image was provided by Nina at TMITA. I decided to recycle a gift purse that I had. I colored my image using Adobe Fireworks and then cut it out with one of my Nestabilities dies. I forgot to take a photo of the box before but there was a big cupcake where my image is now. I used my Color box chalks around the edges. I added some green ribbon for the handle and some glitter for sparkle. I love recycling things and now this one is ready to give to someone else.

Friends Like You!!!

Hello everyone. Today I have a new creation and this one is for the following challenges.
I used papers from my stash and distressed the edges using sandpaper and the edge of my scissors. I stamped my sentiment and then cut it out with one of my Nestabilities dies. I also used my Nestabilities flower die to create my flowers. The larger flower has tiny pink pearls in the center. A little distressing ink was added to the petals. I also added some lace, ribbon, two photo corners and a bow along with a flower charm. So, what do you think?
