Easter Money Cards

Hello again... I have another creation for today and this one is for Just Us Girls Challenge. Their theme is to use a Template. I usually give my grand-daughters money for Easter instead of candy and I wanted to make money holders. I made my own template for this challenge and used papers from my stash. These two cards were very easy to make and I didn't want to add too many embellishments so I kept them simple. On the fronts I used one of my Martha Stewart corner punches, added ribbon, a sentiment and a chipboard flower with a pearl in the center. On the inside I used one of my Nestibilities dies to cut out the scallop oval. I added a butterfly using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch. I only hope my grand-daughters love the outside as well as what is in the inside...

Happy Spring Basket & Notebook

Hello everyone... today I have a creation and this one is for the following challenges:
I made this cute Easter Basket and filled it with some yummy chocolates. If you would like to make one just click here for the tutorial. I also decorated a small Notebook to go along with my basket. The images are from Michelle Perkett's Shop. For the handles on the basket I used pink felt butterfly ribbon. I added some pink brads along the rim of the basket. On the notebook I added some tiny Prima Flowers and a couple of pearls along with my image and sentiment. So what do you think?

Butterfly Bookmark

Hello everyone... Today I have a creation and this one is for A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge. Their theme this week is "Bookmark This". I love making bookmarks and this one was created with some of my newest stash by My Mind's Eye called Summer Song. I added a butterfly using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and also used my Martha Stewart flower border punch for two of the corners. I shaded my cardstock using Color Box Chalks around the edges. I took some gold metallic thread and strung some contrasting beads along with a gold butterfly charm. I added a sentiment and some glitter glue.

I added a little color to the scallops using color box chalks. I also used my scallop die to make the border around the neck and legs. Happy Spring Flowers

Hello everyone... I have a creation for today and this one is for the following challenges:
I found a tutorial to make this cute little flower pot card with a card insert at Splitcoast Stampers Tutorials. I used papers from my stash and my sentiment image is from Michelle Perkett. I made my flowers using my whale of a punch large flower punch and I used embroidery thread for my stitching. I added some small prima flowers and some glitter glue. On the border of the flower pot I used my Martha Stewart flower border punch and added a ribbon and a bow. On my pull out I added my handmade flowers and a stamped sentiment. I made my leaves by using the same whale of a punch flower, cut each petal out and embossed them with my Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder.

Happy Easter Bunny

Hello everyone... Today I have another creation and this is my DT entry for Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge. I am also entering it in The Dutch Dare Card Challenge. For Michelle's challenge the theme is a recipe to use 3 Design Papers, 3 flowers, 3 buttons or brads and to use a Springtime Theme. Dutch Dare Challenge theme is to make a gate card. I used papers from the Paper Studio called So-So-Sweet and my image is from Michelle Perkett Studio. I colored my image using a combination of Adobe Fireworks and my Copic markers. The gate card is my own design and my very first try at one. On the outside I cut an oval and added 3 Prima flowers and 3 brads that look like buttons. I used 4 eyelets so I could insert ribbon to open and close my card. On the inside I used my Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder for some texture. I also added a scallop border and some glitter paper to use as a ballet bar for my cute little bunny. I made my sentiment using Microsoft Word and added some heart shaped flowers from Michelle.

I also added some star gems and other gems along with some stickles glitter for some Bling!
