Vintage Gift Card Purse

Hello everyone... I have a creation that I would like to share with you today and this one is for La La Land Challenge and Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge. The theme for La La Land is to create a gift card holder and the theme for Peachy Keen is something Vintage. I made this cute little purse out of Vintage looking papers from my stash and one of my Fiskars shape templates. One of these days I will come up with a tutorial for this creation but there are similar ones on the Internet for you to view. I cut out my shapes and assembled my gift card holder. On the outside I placed a Vintage looking metal butterfly to close my purse. I used this butterfly as my inspiration. I also added two eyelets to the top  of the purse and then added some ribbon for the handle. On the inside I used my Fiskars shape template folded in half to hold my gift card. I found these beautiful Vintage butterflies on the Internet and stamped my sentiment on card stock and more Vintage papers. To close my purse I added round velcro dots. So, what do you think?

Hugs & Kisses Bear

Today I have a new creation and this one has two different components. The challenges that I entered this creation are :
Winter Wonderland ... Provided a sketch
Diecut Dreams ... Theme is Bears
Just Us Girls ... Use a template to make something
A Spoonful of Sugar ...Theme is Freestyle

I had so much fun with this creation because I actually had to make the mailbox. I found a template here but I altered it a little. I now have my own template with my modifications. I found this cute image of a bear on the internet and I colored it using Adobe Fireworks CS4. I made my mailbox first and used papers from my stash. I added paper borders to the ends of the mailbox using my Martha Stewart flower border punch. For the flag on the mailbox I cut out a piece of card stock, added a heart and attached it to my mailbox using my Cropadile and a metal eyelet. The flag actually can be placed up or down just like a real mailbox. On the end of my mailbox that opens I added a bow and a heart image that I colored. For my card I used similar contrasting papers, added a heart border that I colored with my copic markers and a pink piece of card stock embossed with my Cuttlebug and also used my heart punch. I added another bear image, a sentiment, some gems and stickels glitter glue and my creations were completed.
