Michelle Perkett's Group Challenge

Hi everyone. Today I have my creation for Michelle Perkett's Group Challenge. I followed the sketch that was provided. I used an image from Michelle and colored her with my copic markers along with Adobe Fireworks CS4. I used metallic green card stock for my base and some contrasting papers from my stash. Since I love glitter I added some to the image and along my distressed edges of my paper. To complete my card I added a few silver pearls, silk flowers and a double silver heart charm.

Time To Sleep

Hello everyone, I have another creation to add to a couple of challenges. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday Challenge and the theme Let's Get Fuzzy is from Nina at There's Magic In The Air Challenge. My papers are from my Christmas stash and the image is a freebie from Nina. I colored the image with my copics and added some glitter glue along with yellow glitter fibers. I used my Christmas light Nestabilities die and colored them with my copics. I used a white felt lace border on the bottom of my card. I added a sentiment and a few gems to complete my creation.

Peace Angel

Hi everyone. I am finally back in the groove and I created an ornament yesterday to post for a couple of challenges. I made an ornament or you can use it as a door knob hanger for the Holidays. The sketch is from The Friday Sketchers Challenge and the theme is from The Crafty Catz Challenge. My image is from Mo's Digital Pencil called Sending Peace. I colored this lovely image with copic markers and added a little glitter glue to it. I used coordinating papers and I distressed them a little around the edges. I punched two holes at the top of the card and used two eyelets so I could add some organza ribbon to hang it by. I used a decorative piece of ribbon, some pretty flower gems, a couple of pearls and a sentiment to complete my creation.

Penguin Skate

Well, I have another creation to add to a few challenges. Sketch Saturday provided the sketch. There's Magic in the Air provided this cute digital image by Nina. Creatalicious Challenge has a theme of snowflakes and sparkle. The Cupcake Craft Challenge wants us to use a digital image and Crafty Creations Challenge wants us to use metal or metallic finishes. I used a silver metallic paper for my card base and added other papers from my stash. I colored my image in Adobe Fireworks CS4. I am starting to like the look I get using this software. I found a hologram paper that I cut out with one of my Nestabilities dies and I used a white glitter paper that I cut out using my Nestabilities scallop lace border die. I added some paper snowflakes, a sentiment, some glitter glue and a snowflake charm to complete my card.

St Nicholas

Close up of St Nick Image

Well I have another creation and this one is for The Winter Wonderland Challenge. I had a lot of fun doing this card. I didn't have an image of St Nicholas so I decided to be creative. I took a photo of a Santa from the Internet and by using Adobe Photoshop CS4 I transformed it in to a stamp like image. I am very pleased with the way it came out. What do you think? I chose papers from one of my Christmas stacks. I didn't use a sentiment because one of the papers I chose had Merry Christmas on it. I added some gold and iridescent glitter for sparkle and some holly and berries along with a Christmas ornament that I had from The Paper Studio's La Petites collection.

There are a few photos because I wanted to show all views of my creation. I first started with a small box that I had. I added some decorative paper on all sides and top of the box. I found this pretty braided ribbon that went with my papers. My image was found on the Internet and it was free to use. I colored my image with copic markers and cut it out with one of my Nestabilities dies. I used gold fabric paint around my image and added some glitter for sparkle. I used a decorative button on the front of the lid and added four gems to the corners of the lid. After I was done with my creation I decided to fill it with tissue paper and some goodies. I didn't have any real candy so I thought this was even better. The image is by Michelle called Autumn. Instead of using my copic markers this time I used my Adobe Fireworks CS4 software to color the image. I added a piece of ribbon that had metallic threads going through it and some silk flowers. Michele gave us the sentiment as one of her freebies and I added a small enameled leaf charm. To finish my card I used some burnt orange glitter to edge the paper. So what do you think?
